With wine

Enjoy your favorite wine, accompanied by good quality nuts!

Maximize pleasure, while receiving the benefits of eating nuts!

1) A simple and nice idea is to put some dried fruits and nuts on a plate along with a variety of cheeses. The combination of salty cheese ans the discreet sweetness of dried fruits is just ideal.

2) Another idea to accompany wine is the bruschettas.

We propose you a great combination to serve with a white wine. Cut a French baguette into thin slices. Spread them with basil pesto sauce and put cherry tomatoes cut in half on top. Add a little salt and grated walnut or pistachio for decoration and a unique flavor.

3) Sausages with chestnuts and dried figs

INGREDIENTS
1–1 kg of sausages
2 onions, finely chopped
1½ cup fresh or crushed tomatoes
500gr. chestnuts, boiled and peeled
10 dried Almanda figs
1 glass of red dry wine
½ cup olive oil
2 bay leaves
salt
pepper

IMPLEMENTATION
Cut the sausages into thick slices and put them in a pan along with 1 tbsp. of already hot olive oil. Sauté for 4 minutes on strong heat, add the onion and continue sautéing until the onion softens a little and loses part of its liquids. Quench with the wine and as soon as the alcohol begins to evaporate, add the tomato, bay leaves and half of the chestnuts. Cover the pan, lower the temperature to half and simmer for 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 ℃ and transfer the contents of the pan to a pyrex. Cover the pyrex with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Open the foil and add the remaining chestnuts and figs. Bake for another half an hour and serve hot.
